Travis Fritts, a proud Michigander, embarked on a brewing journey that eventually shaped him into a master brewer with training in Germany. His educational path led him to the VLB at the Berlin Technical University, where he earned a diploma in Microbiology/biochemistry. Focused on brewing and brewery operations, Travis returned to Michigan, fueled by a mission to create high-quality, Michigan-made beer.

This mission materialized with the founding of Old Nation Brewing Co., opening its doors in 2015 and ascending to become one of the top and largest independent breweries. This achievement was propelled by the steady expansion of brewing capacity and distribution reach, now spanning 18 states nationwide.

Travis boasts a wealth of experience spanning two decades in pub/production brewing and brewery operations, rendering him a seasoned professional in the craft beer industry. His expertise extends beyond brewing, encompassing almost two decades of refining sales and distributor relations, complemented by over a decade dedicated to brand development and marketing within the dynamic Michigan craft beer scene.

Beyond the brewing kettle, Travis finds joy in the company of his sons, immersing himself in music, and sharing his passion as a baseball coach. His commitment to both his craft and personal pursuits reflects a dynamic individual with a deep-rooted connection to Michigan and an unwavering dedication to the art of brewing.
