Below are some of the boards and charities that I believe in
most at this point in my life.
Imerman Angels.org Mentor and Cancer Survivor An organization that provides FREE personalized one-on-one cancer support for cancer fighters, survivors, and their caregivers.
ADL (the Anti-Defamation League) Board Member. The ADL is a leading anti-hate organization. Founded in 1913 in response to an escalating climate of antisemitism and bigotry, its timeless mission is to protect the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment for all. Today, ADL continues to fight all forms of hate with the same vigor and passion. ADL is the first call when acts of antisemitism occur. A global leader in exposing extremism, delivering anti-bias education and fighting hate online, ADL’s ultimate goal is a world in which no group or individual suffers from bias, discrimination or hate. The ADL regional office in Detroit, Michigan serves the entire state of Michigan.
Hebrew Free Loan Mentor, Executive Board Member and Chair of the Board Development Hebrew Free Loan of Metropolitan Detroit provides financial help to Jewish people in the state of Michigan through the lending of money without interest in accordance with the core Jewish values of respect, compassion and confidentiality.
100 Businesses Who Care is a group of 100 top decision-makers from southeast Michigan who want to make an impact on the local community.
Sharrey Zedek Past board member of the executive committee of the shul, Past member of rabbi search committee, six-year member of the board, active in many committees. Organization provides to all generations innovative, stimulating and diverse spiritual, educational, leadership and social opportunities that nurture our love and commitment to Jewish life, our Synagogue, our country and the State of Israel.

Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit Two-year member of real estate committee. A community-driven organization committed to taking care of the needs of the Jewish People and building a vibrant Jewish future, in Metropolitan Detroit, in Israel and around the world.

Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute One-year board member A unique, integrated center of research, patient care and education, dedicated to the prevention, early detection, treatment and eventual eradication of cancer.
Crowdrise Crowdrise is about giving back, raising lots of money for great causes, and having the most fun in the world while doing it.
World ORT Two year member of the board, co-chair of Rub-a-Dub. The Jewish organization meeting the world’s educational needs since 1880.
Heart 2 Hart Detroit A 501(c)(3) public charity, was started in June 2012 by Larry Oleinick to help address the homeless problem in the Detroit Metropolitan area. Our vision is to lift up individuals in crisis, and help end homelessness. We provide and distribute food, clothing, toiletries and helpful information to the homeless, and people in need, in the Detroit Metro area. Heart 2 Hart Detroit makes deliveries Monday, Wednesday and Friday of food, clothing and toiletries, to the men and women living on the streets or in shelters.
