“I was intrigued from the start,” Jon said. “The minute I heard about HFL, I wanted to be part of it. HFL echoes my belief system: not just lending money without interest, which is important, but Jews helping Jews, guiding someone onto a smoother path. That’s why it was founded.”
Jon is a volunteer Mentor and Boardmember of Hebrew Free Loan of Metropolitan Detroit, an organization that provides financial help to Jewish people in the state of Michigan through the lending of money without interest in accordance with the core Jewish values of respect, compassion and confidentiality.
