From a tech-hungry teen in India to a leading AI entrepreneur, Krunal Patel‘s story has been one of turning roadblocks into launchpads. Denied a traditional computer science degree due to affirmative-action-like policies, Krunal taught himself programming and ultimately conquered HEC Paris’s dynamic and grueling Innovation and Entrepreneurship Masters program.
His superpower for simplifying complex concepts propelled him through various roles, including the move from an entry-level engineer to VP of Engineering at Saama Technologies in a mere nine years. But Krunal’s purpose runs deeper than code, leading him to join Facebook’s philanthropy department where he spearheaded impactful initiatives like infectious disease prevention and played a key role in the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative’s COVID-19 response. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit that could no longer be put on ice, Krunal left Meta to found OnCamp, an education AI platform for new graduates. Now, as Chief Product Officer at Bordo, an AI data decision engine, he empowers financial institutions to unlock the power of their data, driving revenue, smarter operations, and stronger relationships.
