Jon Dwoskin talks with Benjamin Blankenship and Arin Rentz of Robotic Precision Therapy (RPT), which uses the RX2600 Therapeutic Robot to administer gentle pressure in intervals to a specific muscle. This process relaxes muscles as well as relieves aches and pains.
Benjamin Blankenship is the founder of RPT Clinic, which has been operating in Michigan for over 15 years. Benjamin is a Neuromuscular Therapist and studied under the originator of robotic muscular therapy in conjunction with USF. As a student athlete, Benjamin developed a severe lumbar nerve impingement. After being told it would require surgery, he sought out robotic therapy. The therapy was highly successful. This experience ignited his passion for RPT’s non-invasive and therapeutic value.
