Jon sits down with his therapist, Dr Paul Kaye on how to get back to center during stressful times in our lives.

Dr. Kaye is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in the state of Michigan. Following seven years at Sinai Hospital of Detroit where he worked extensively within the inpatient, day hospital, and outpatient departments, he began a private practice in 1980. He has been on the teaching faculties at the University of Detroit’s Clinical Psychology program; Wayne State University-School of Medicine-Psychiatric Residency program; and the American Group Psychotherapy Association. He works primarily with adolescents and adults using treatment modalities including individual, family, marital, and group psychotherapy. He has also served as a consultant to community-based facilities including Catholic Social Services of Wayne County, Detroit VA Hospital, Henry Ford Hospital, the Family Practice Residency at Providence Hospital, and Michigan Rehabilitation Services.

On the personal side, Paul has been married for 47 years with two daughters and three granddaughters. He spends his free time traveling, playing tennis, raising Japanese Koi (goldfish), enjoying the skies as an amateur astronomer, and practicing the art of being silly with his granddaughters. Paul also has an interest in writing and recently completed a screenplay involving the issue of deception within the context of a therapeutic relationship.
