Jon talks about how to take your operations, systems and processes to the next level with CEO of Jamie Garavaglia Consulting, Jamie Garavaglia.

After 18 years in the corporate world focusing on everything from project management and recruiting to sales and customer service, Jamie decided to use my skills to help business owners reclaim their time so they can focus on the big picture rather than time consuming daily operations. You know, those non-glamorous details that are so vital to a successful operation, the back-end operations that no one really notices unless something goes wrong.

Noticing and handling the essential details may not seem glamorous to some, but Jamie thrives on keeping everything running smoothly and preventing gaps and issues before they occur. Developing, documenting, and organizing systems, processes and people are my super powers and are key to help organizations scale.

It’s a role she learned well at my most recent position (which she still holds) as Regional Director of Sales and Operations at a highly successful and growing fitness brand. Jamie wears many hats, continues to master many skills and helps manage more than 100 employees. Her job is to free up space so the owner can concentrate on growing the brand. Jamie develops the SOPs, systems and processes needed to scale the organization which has grown from one to eight brick-and-mortar studios in less than five years. No task is too large or too small for Jamie to dig into and as a result she is well versed in a multitude of business areas, including recruiting, marketing, operational and employee development, client relations and customer service.

Prior to that, Jamie co-launched ERTutors.com, an online platform that matched highly skilled education professionals with students seeking specialized assistance. As Managing Partner, she was the project manager for the website development, ran the day-to-day operations and handled sales and marketing.

After earning a B.S. from Michigan State University and a Master’s from DePaul University, Jamie enjoyed a variety of positions, including field recruiting for Walden University and as a School Specialty Sales Representative selling educational curriculum.

She thrives on personal connection and creating this with her clients is essential to a long-lasting relationship. She helps businesses grow and can do that best by understanding her clients’ business, who they are and their vision. This happens with open and honest communication which is key to a successful working relationship.

On the personal front, Jamie is a wife and mother to two incredible kids. Her family loves being outside in nature doing things like kayaking and hiking. When they’re forced indoors, that energy goes into board games, puzzle and movie nights.
