Ilyssa Panitz is the “only” Divorce Journalist in the media industry who is solely committed to helping others navigate this major life transition by “exclusively” covering every angle of this topic.
Ilyssa’s prior experience as a Reporter/Producer was for leading media outlets such as CNN, MSNBC, 1010 WINS Radio (NY), WCBS-AM, New York-1 News, Westwood One, Star Magazine, Closer Magazine, and Meredith Publishing. While Ilyssa has been front and center on a wide array of media assignments, she is perhaps best known for producing hundreds of “Celebrity at Home” photo shoots and sitting down with some of the biggest names in Hollywood for exclusive, one-on-one interviews.
The idea to create and build the “”divorce beat,”” stemmed from her own divorce, which began when Ilyssa filed for a divorce back in 2018.
After Googling the word “”divorce”” and “”how to get a divorce”” became too overwhelming, Ilyssa turned to the news to wait for the Divorce Reporter to come on TV and explain the process. When no one did and then Ilyssa’s job went south during COVID, she knew that was her ticket to reinvention.
Ilyssa writes a divorce column for “Authority Magazine” on Medium.
She also serves as the Content/Editorial Producer for The National Association of Divorce Professionals and is the Creator, Writer, Producer and Host of a nationally syndicated & live streaming radio show called, “The Divorce Hour with Ilyssa Panitz” that airs every Saturday and Sunday on CRN Digital Talk Radio and then on Spotify, Google Podcasts, iTunes, and Alexa.
