When you’re repeating a story to people that you work with, your colleagues, your team or even on a personal level, do your best not to speak in pronouns. For example, if I am telling a group of people a story and I say, “Well he said, and then he said, and then she said to him that she…and etc., etc. you get the point. It’s very confusing to follow a story. Get tight on your story. Tell it using the people’s names. You’ll be a much more effective speaker and you’ll be able to include people better because they’ll be able to understand what you’re talking about. Plus, you’ll save everyone time. That’s it. That’s your tip of the day: Don’t speak in pronouns when you’re telling a story. Have a great day, and always Think Big!
