Part of being a business person –  whether you’re a c-level executive or a salesperson – is setting goals on a yearly basis, on a quarterly basis, on a monthly basis and on a daily basis. What’s important is that you create SMART goals: I talk to my clients about these all the time. I have talked about them on my podcast. I talk to sales people and all c-level execs. What is a SMART goal? In quick summary, it’s the following: It’s setting a goal that’s specific; it’s setting a goal that’s measurable, it’s setting a goal that has an action plan; it’s setting a goal that is realistic; it has expectations; and it has a time limit. That’s it! Make sure all of your goals line up in a very smart way using SMART goals. Have a great day and always, Think Big!
