This is one of my favorite quotes by Tom Peters. I am going to read it to you really quickly. It’s a great tip…to remind ourselves (that) leaders don’t create followers; they create more leaders. It’s our responsibility to empower people. As c-level executives or salespeople, it’s our job to empower our team, our companies and empower the people that work on our team, whether they’re above us or whether they’re below us. Our clients, we may be serving them, but we are also leading them. Just remember that this sometimes requires you to step up and be a bigger person and be a leader. And be a powerful leader.
