People ask me all the time, “What are the top issues of the c-level executives that you work with?” I am going to highlight a few because I want you to recognize that these are issues within your organization, and if they are, you need to do something about it before it gets out of hand if it isn’t already out of hand. But c-level executives that I work with and see in the field have issues: growing their business; and with time management; delegating, qualifying and recruiting; inspecting what you expect, cash flow, payroll and equipment; dispute management; influencing their team/company; wrong people in the wrong seats; being unapproachable and misunderstood; (and) not having their pulse on the company, direction and/or future of their industry.
These are some very high-level things that if you can look at these and say, “Wow, some of these are my issues, but I have been ignoring them for the growth of the company.” So if you can’t figure out why your company is not growing, these things are toxic within an organization. And you really don’t understand the underlying underworld that goes on when this is happening. So if you need to do something about it, you can either start meeting collectively as a team, get a facilitator, get a coach, it doesn’t necessarily have to be me. But get somebody to help clean it up so you can have a healthy company and at the end of the day, have a healthy culture, which all of this, done the right way, creates a healthy culture and that’s what you want. Have an amazing day and always, Think Big!
